Introduction to facilities/restaurants at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam

Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport (Airport code: HAN) is the second largest airport in Vietnam. The largest airport is of course Ho Chi Minh Airport. Noi Bai International Airport is about 35 kilometers away from Hanoi Old Town, but because of the heavy traffic and many motorcycles in Hanoi, it takes about 50 minutes to take a taxi. The cost of taking a Grab taxi to and from the airport (one way) is approximately VND 300,000.

Hanoi Airport is clean and bright, and it feels better planned than Taiwan's Taoyuan Airport. The wealthy family arrived at the airport at about 11 a.m., and it was almost Chinese New Year, but it felt like there weren't many tourists.

gourmet restaurant

There are 4 or 5 themed restaurants with different themes on the second floor of the departure hall. The rich man suggested that you can arrive at Hanoi Airport a little early and enjoy one last meal of authentic Vietnamese cuisine before returning home. I didn’t expect to be able to eat at such an affordable and delicious meal at the airport. For food, this time I chose the Vietnamese restaurant – EL DOMO, so I can save on airplane meals (laughs).

The menu sells a variety of Vietnamese delicacies, and the prices are quite affordable. There are many good choices for only 100,000 VND. The rich man highly recommends it.

There are also vegetarian meals available. A thumbs up from the rich man.

Rich Man would like to especially recommend this bowl of beef fried rice noodles. The chef made it very delicious, and the portions are substantial. The price is actually cheaper than eating at roadside stalls in the old town. It is really worth the money, Rich Man. The family unanimously agreed that this bowl of fried rice noodles was the winner of the meal.

Stir-fried instant noodles with assorted seafood. The rich man thinks that the seafood part is very fresh, but the instant noodles part is not fried enough and the noodles taste tasteless. But in my impression, Southeast Asian instant noodles are hard and not easy to taste? The Taiwanese Prince Noodles are still delicious, ranking third in this meal (laughs).
