Because I signed up for Klook’s Mount Fuji one-day tour, the meeting point in the morning was at Tokyo Station, so I simply chose the Karaksa hotel next to Tokyo Station. Since it was summer vacation, the price per night for a standard twin room was about 5,800. It’s Taiwan dollars, but compared with hotels near Tokyo Station, this price should be considered relatively affordable. Since Tokyo Station is really huge and complex, it takes about 15 minutes to walk from Karakusa Hotel to the day trip gathering place, which is not a short distance.
As soon as you enter the door, there is a check-in counter on the right hand side. I happened to meet the counter service staff from Taiwan, which made the rich man feel even more friendly. The picture below shows the hotel lobby. There are chairs next to it for you to take a rest while waiting for check-in. There are also some hotel supplies nearby. On the other side is the dining area for breakfast and afternoon tea.
Room unpacking
Standard twin room, there is a small side cabinet between the two beds, a long table and chairs by the window and the hotel's three treasures. The window behind the curtain faces the alley, but cannot be opened. The location of Karakusa Hotel is about 50 meters from the main road next to the Yae Exit of Tokyo Station, so it will not feel less noisy at night.
The standard twin room booked by the rich manAPA Tokyo Bay HotelThere is also no wardrobe, there is a one-piece mirror on the wall, and a few simple clothes hangers to save space. Disposable toothbrushes are provided.
The shower room is not a bathtub style, which is really gratifying. The shower room is separated from the toilet. Bathing and going to the toilet will not affect each other. I give it a thumbs up.
Here comes the cool thing. There is a trap door outside the shower room that can be closed. The rich man thinks the switch design is great. When traveling abroad, it is often the case that one person is still taking a shower while the other person is already exhausted; or one person gets up early while the other person is still sleeping. Using a trap door can reduce interference, which is very considerate.
breakfast
Breakfast is served next to the counter on the first floor. There are only a few simple items of bread, bacon, Italian stir-fried vegetables, lettuce salad, cheese, ham, and natto buns. The rich man thought it was a pretty basic breakfast. Perhaps due to lack of manpower, they use disposable tableware, which is not environmentally friendly.
For drinks, there is a soft drink machine, coffee machine and fresh milk.
There are also corn soup noodle buns on the side. The breakfast dining seating area is not large and can only accommodate about 30 people.
afternoon tea
Tokyo Karakusa Hotel provides free afternoon tea every day from 10 am to 5 pm. In addition to the beverage machine, it also provides some biscuits, candies, small sausages, and limited-edition fruit popsicles. The rich man thought the fruit popsicles were delicious, while the little rich man loved them all.

Tokyo Tsukishima Monji Yakishoku: Enriching taste and culture
Monjayaki originated in Tsukishima Town, Tokyo, and is considered a specialty dish of the Kanto region. Vegetables, seafood, and meat are fried on an iron plate until they are fragrant, then topped with batter and fried until solid. Tsukishima Monjayaki Tamatoya is a popular Monjayaki (もんじゃyaki) shop, and there happens to be one in the Kuroji Yokocho underground shopping mall in Tokyo Station.
