Because I signed up Klook For a one-day tour of Mount Fuji, the meeting place in the morning was at Tokyo Station, so I simply chose Karaksa Hotel next to Tokyo Station. Since Tokyo Station is really huge and complicated, I walked from Karaksa Hotel to the day trip meeting place. The location is about 15 minutes, which is not a short journey.
Tokyo Station Karakusa Hotel Prices
This time I booked the room through Klook. Since it was summer vacation, the price per night for a standard twin room including breakfast was about NT$5,800. However, compared to hotels near Tokyo Station, this price is relatively affordable.
Introduction to Tokyo Station Karakusa Hotel

As soon as you enter the door, there is a check-in counter on the right hand side. I happened to meet the counter service staff from Taiwan, which made the rich man feel even more friendly. The picture below shows the hotel lobby. There are chairs next to it for you to take a rest while waiting for check-in. There are also some hotel supplies nearby. On the other side is the dining area for breakfast and afternoon tea.

Tokyo Station Karakusa Hotel Room Unpacking
The standard twin room had a small sideboard between the beds, and a side table and the hotel's three essentials by the window. The window behind the curtains faced the alley, but it couldn't be opened. Karaksa Hotel is located about 50 meters from the main street near Tokyo Station's Yae Exit, so it wasn't too noisy at night.

The standard twin room booked by the rich manAPA Tokyo Bay HotelThere is no wardrobe either. There is a full-length mirror hanging on the wall and a few simple hangers to save space. Disposable toothbrushes are provided.

The shower room is not a bathtub style, which is really gratifying. The shower room is separated from the toilet. Bathing and going to the toilet will not affect each other. I give it a thumbs up.

Here's the kicker: the shower has a sliding door that closes, which the tycoon thinks is a fantastic design. Traveling abroad often leaves one person showering while the other collapses, or one person waking up early while the other is still asleep. Using this sliding door minimizes distractions—very thoughtful! A thumbs-up from the tycoon.

Breakfast at Tokyo Station Karakusa Hotel
Breakfast is served next to the counter on the first floor. There are only a few simple items of bread, bacon, Italian stir-fried vegetables, lettuce salad, cheese, ham, and natto buns. The rich man thought it was a pretty basic breakfast. Perhaps due to lack of manpower, they use disposable tableware, which is not environmentally friendly.

The beverage section includes a soda machine, coffee machine and fresh milk.

There are also corn soup noodle buns on the side. The breakfast dining seating area is not large and can only accommodate about 30 people.

afternoon tea
The Karaksa Hotel Tokyo offers free afternoon tea every day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Besides the drink dispenser, they also offer cookies, candies, sausages, and limited-edition fruit popsicles. The rich man thought the fruit popsicles were delicious, while the little rich man loved everything. After returning to the hotel from the Tokyo Skytree to pick up his luggage, the rich man had some afternoon tea to recharge before leaving (laughs).

rich man experience
Overall, the Karaksa Hotel Tokyo Station is a good choice. The service staff is friendly, the rooms are neat and clean and not old, the transportation is well connected, the location is excellent, and free breakfast and afternoon tea are provided. I think the CP value is very high and recommend it to friends who are traveling to Tokyo.

Tokyo Tsukishima Monji Yakishoku: Enriching taste and culture
Monjayaki originated in Tsukishima Town, Tokyo, and is considered a specialty dish of the Kanto region. Vegetables, seafood, and meat are fried on an iron plate until they are fragrant, then topped with batter and fried until solid. Tsukishima Monjayaki Tamatoya is a popular Monjayaki (もんじゃyaki) shop, and there happens to be one in the Kuroji Yokocho underground shopping mall in Tokyo Station.
