It's a blessing to be a kid in Taoyuan. There is such a big and newly built art museum. Of course, kids in Taipei don't have to worry. You can take the Taoyuan Airport MRT and get off at the Taoyuan Sports Park (A19) station. The transportation is also very convenient. , you don’t have to drive.
This super-beautiful art museum has a great background. The main building is a sloping building built by Yamamoto Riken, the winner of the 2024 Pritzker Architecture Prize, together with Taiwanese architect Shi Zhaoyong. You can walk up the slope to the art museum. The rich man thinks it has a sense of design and likes it very much.
The Children's Art Museum has four floors. Because it is a sloping building, the floor area becomes smaller as the upper floors go up. The only ways to go up and down the floors in the museum are small elevators and stairs. The elevators should be reserved for families with trolleys. Rich families use the stairs to go up and down, which is okay.
The theme of this issue is exploring the future. The theme design is quite lively and colorful. Children will like it. Add Line friends and you can get cute stickers.
The exhibition theme on the first floor is Container City. Next to it was this mural called City Map created by REACH, a pioneer of Taiwanese graffiti culture. The rich man found it very interesting.
There were so many people, so I was lucky enough to enter the venue right away today.
Children can work together to use magnet blocks to build a track for the car to drive in this city designed and created by the children. It is very fun and rekindles the car spirit of the little millionaire, playing until he refuses to leave (laughs).

The theme of the exhibition on the second floor is Map City, which recalls the scenery once seen from the train window, as well as the memories of the Taolin Railway that disappeared one after another.
Works by Jason Qiu – Pictures of Time. Works created using some waste.
There is also an international lecture hall at the back of the second floor, where story-telling activities are held from time to time, but unfortunately the little rich man doesn't like it.
There are workshops and indoor activity venues (Seed City) on the third floor. I originally thought it was suitable for younger children. But I have grown up, so I didn’t expect to still jump up and down here. The whole 30 minutes is not wasted.
There is a small library in another area, which is full of children's books. The books in the library are very new, and there are also great three-dimensional books. The rich man thinks it is very good, and he can spend some time here while waiting in line for activities. time, but still squeezed out.
The open-air space on the top floor is not wasted either, displaying a work specially produced for Taiwan by the Australian technology and art team ENESS – a stone with a door growing out of it.
Through this work, we introduce various stones on the earth and interact with children to solve puzzles to expand their understanding of all things in the world.
rich man experience
The newly opened Taoyuan Children's Art Museum is really beautiful. It's really an honor to see the works of masters. For this exhibition, it is more suitable for children under 6 years old. If you are too old, it may be boring. . The rich man felt that the circulation of the exhibition venue was not very good. Everyone was crowded in the elevators and stairs (laughing). For activities on the first and third floors, you had to queue up to get a number plate. There were not many people who could experience each event. There was a tree growing on the top floor. The door stone activities have fewer people each time. It is conceivable that there will be long queues for each activity. Children are the most impatient. We need to think about how to improve this in the future. It is currently in trial operation and free to visit! There will be a fee after September. Finally, some activity schedules are attached.
