Step 1: Taiwan Railway English ticket booking website
First enter the Taiwan Railways (Taiwan Railway) official ticket purchase website:https://tip.railway.gov.tw/tra-tip-web/tip?lang=EN_US.
Step 2: Select departure station
First select the "departure place". For the rich man, the departure point is "Taipei Main Station" as an example.
Step 3: Select your arrival station
Select "Destination", here we take "Jiaoxi Station" in Yilan as an example.
Step 4: Confirm the train schedule
After selecting "Date" and "Time", click the "Search" button. You will see the search results for all train schedules. Take the search results in the picture below as an example. Currently, only Tze-Chiang Limited Express flight 272 has available seats (there is a small blue icon next to it). Then click on the "little blue icon".
Step 5: Start personal booking
After clicking on the small blue icon, you can select the "number of tickets" and "seat preference" to see whether you want a window seat or a walk-up seat, and finally press the "query" button.

Step 6: Select train schedule
After confirming the pick-up and drop-off locations and times, select "Train Number" and press the "Next" button.
Step 7: Select ticket type
Next, select "Ticket Type", then select "Adult" ticket or "Children" ticket from the drop-down menu, and click the "Next" button. Note: The fare for children's cars is about 1/2 of the adult fare.

Step 8: Choose payment method
After confirming that it is correct, select the payment method, you can choose "Credit Card" or "Pay at the Counter/Convenience Store/Post Office", and click the "Next" button.
Step 9 – A: Enter credit card information
After entering your credit card information, your ticket booking is completed!

After the reservation is successful, payment must be completed within 24 hours!
When collecting tickets, please bring your "passport" and "reservation number" to the train station ticket counter to collect your tickets. You can also directly show the barcode to speed up ticket collection.
