Lapopo Village in Nuannuan, Keelung, was originally the Keelung Scout Center. It is located next to Nuannuan Canyon and is only a 30-minute drive from Taipei City. This is the third time that the rich man came to Lapopo Village, and he took the opportunity to challenge his first appearance with his elderly parents. I hope everything goes well.
The parking lot can accommodate about 20 cars. The weather was bad and it was drizzling. There were only 5 groups of tourists.
The rich man felt that the hinterland of Lapopo Village was quite vast, and you could see large tracts of turf everywhere. If the weather was good, the village chief would set up a campfire on the turf at night and invite all tourists to roast marshmallows together. Unfortunately, the rich man didn't do it three times during his visit. Rain, it hasn’t been baked successfully yet.
afternoon tea
Once you arrive at Lapopo Village, have afternoon tea first, located in the building behind the command post. This is also where breakfast is served.
There are about 10 dining tables, and there are free board games you can borrow, so you can kill some time if it rains.
Afternoon tea offers simple snacks. The rich man thought the taste was average, but not terrible and nothing particularly amazing. The picture below shows the size of a tent. There are also juice, coffee, tea and other drinks available nearby.
There are some indoor entertainment facilities near the breakfast location, including jumping beds, shooting red hearts and other games.
Handmade activities
This time the rich family chose the sphagnum ball player for their activity, which was quite fun. The production time took about 40~50 minutes.
Choose the plant, then start covering the plant with sphagnum moss, then wrap it with cotton thread, and finally weave the hanging rope, and voila ~ you're done.
The picture on the left below was made by a rich man, and it turned out to be long, looking a bit like a sweet potato from a distance. The picture on the right below was made by the teacher, and it is really different (laughs).
Room unpacking
This time I stayed in a temple tent + exclusive bathroom tent. The best thing about this room type is that the bathroom is connected to the main tent. Other facilities include a hot water kettle, air conditioning and heating, and a humidifier. But it's a pity that there is no refrigerator.
There are two large double beds in the temple tent, which can accommodate up to 4 people. The mattress is placed directly on the ground, so the position is relatively low, and some elders may not be used to it. The bed feels a little hard when lying down, but the rich man thinks the softness and hardness are just right. The bed is covered with an electric blanket, so friends who are afraid of the cold can come camping in winter. This electric blanket is very powerful, and the rich man can sleep in the middle of the night. When you are sweating profusely, quickly turn off the electric blanket. The only drawback is that there are only two small lights in the tent, so the lights in the tent are dim. It is recommended that children bring their own lamps if they need to read.
The most troublesome part of camping is going to the toilet in the middle of the night. This time, the clean, tidy, and bright bathroom facilities are directly connected to the main tent. You can reach it by opening a zipper. It is very convenient. The hot water when taking a shower is also very hot. . The exclusive bathroom tent also doesn’t feel damp, which is great!
The village chief provides bathroom slippers and toiletries including: shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush and other basic equipment.
It seems that there are about 20 tents in the entire camp, and it is no problem if colleagues from the company report in groups.
Most of the park has gravel roads like this, which are not very smooth, but I remember that when I first came here a long time ago, the rich man had no problem pushing the stroller.

dinner
Due to the typhoon, the original outdoor dining location is under renovation, and the dinner location is currently at the check-in activity center.
Tonight’s star seafood fisherman’s hot pot is the black pepper truffle lobster pot! The picture below shows the portion size of each hot pot dish. The seafood portion includes half a lobster, as well as some fresh shrimps, shellfish, snapper fillets, etc., as well as endless vegetables.
A pot full of real ingredients, very filling.
How can you go camping without barbecue? The village chief thoughtfully provides simple self-service BBQ barbecue dishes in the wilderness. Basic beef, pig, mutton, vegetables, and dried tofu are good companions for barbecue.
The outdoor barbecue area is very atmospheric on rainy days, and alcoholic beverages are provided – all-you-can-drink Taiwanese beer!
water play area
When the little rich man came to Lapopo Village in the summer, he played in the water area for a long time, but it was closed in the winter. There is also a canned slide next to it, so children will not be bored.
Nuandong Canyon
Lapopo Village has direct access to the Nondong Canyon. If the weather is good, the village chief will also arrange a free guided tour to take everyone to explore the Nondong Canyon.
