Because former U.S. President Barack Obama and the late food show host Anthony Bourdain once dined at the restaurant, the owner simply changed the name of the restaurant to Obama Pho (Bún). chả Hương Liên) (laughing), what an honor it is. You must make a pilgrimage when you come to Hanoi.
A photo of the boss and the former US President hangs high on the wall of the dining area on the first floor. It’s really majestic.
The high-ceiling space of the dining area on the first floor is not crowded. Compared with ordinary pho restaurants, the dining environment of Obama Pho is very comfortable and clean, and there is also air conditioning.
This time we were arranged in the dining area on the third floor. The space is bright, but there is still a lot of garbage on the ground (laughs). Almost all the people who come to dine here are tourists, which shows that the restaurant has a very good reputation.
The Obama set meal on the menu records the meal that President Obama had when he came to the store! It includes a bowl of barbecued rice noodles, fried seafood rolls and a can of Hanoi beer. The price of the set meal endorsed by the President of the United States is a bit expensive.
The food is served! Dry and wet rice noodles and barbecue soup. The barbecue soup contains barbecued meat, green papaya and some unknown spices. The soup tastes sweet and subverts the rich man's feeling about rice noodles. Eat it while it's hot. It will look weird when it's cold ( laugh). It goes really well with the lettuce on the side. It neutralizes the sweetness of the rice noodles, and also relieves the tiredness. It's amazing.
A close-up of the barbecue soup, and on the right is the fried seafood pancake that the rich man’s wife liked very much. It was filled with minced meat and shrimps and was very solid. The rich man also thought it was quite delicious, so he ordered an additional portion in the end.
Finally, the bill of Hanoi Obama Pho is attached. Did you notice it? The legendary paid wet wipes! In the end, I was paid (laughs).
